CONWAY — The former John H. Fuller Elementary School in North Conway, which is being studied by an ad hoc committee to either be rented or mothballed, isn't lying empty. It is being used locally and generating some revenue. And, in one case, someone being in the building saved the property from being ravaged by fire.

Joe Mosca, school board chair of the Conway School Board, informed his colleagues at their March 23 meeting that the North Conway Fire Department had been dispatched to the school the week before for a propane tank incident.
