CONWAY — A man from Rhode Island who allegedly rear-ended another vehicle near the Four Corners on Monday and then fled the scene was ordered held without bail Wednesday after he pleaded not guilty to two counts of conduct after an accident, driving while intoxicated and negligent driving in Conway’s circuit court. He faces additional charges in Maine.

Charged is George Caisse Jr., 64, of Warren, R.I. On Monday, shortly before 12:30 p.m., Conway police were dispatched to a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash on Main Street in Conway Village near the intersection with Pleasant Street, said a probable cause affidavit written by Conway Police Sgt. Jaymes Lapoint.
