TUFTONBORO — Two Carroll County House District 7 candidates — Democrat Bobbi Boudman and Republican Dale Fincher, both of Wolfeboro — are facing off in a race marked by an unusual sideshow: dueling AI-generated cartoons targeting both candidates.
The special election is March 10 for the legislative seat that was vacated by Glenn Cordelli (R-Tuftonboro). The winner will hold it until fall, when he or she will have to run for re-election. District 7 covers Tuftonboro, Wolfeboro and Ossipee.

Majority Leader Jason Osborne is a transplant from Ohio and has no leg to stand on in a carpet bagger’s debate. He blames the media fervently and constantly for failure to place a positive spin on his own legislative proposals, like a petulant child with a very bad grooming habit. I wouldn’t trust a man who made his millions on collecting the debt of poor Americans and moved to N.H. to tell you how to live your life, with your personal freedom being a questionable.
Bobbi Boudman here- this is disingenuous and leads your readers to believe my campaign is creating AI content. My campaign has not created one piece of AI, nor have we printed any information on my opponent. I am running to make my district more affordable for our citizens. We have artificially inflated land values that has caused Ossipee to lose $1,000,000 in State Adequacy Aid in just 2 years! And just last year we lost over $360,000 in Catastrophic Special Education Aid. This is all due to Universal School Vouchers (EFAs) which took 51.6 million from the Education Trust Fund; and as I warned the voters in 2024 would be around $104,000,000 in this budget... it's looking like it will be $112,000,000 as they are over budget again as they have been since their inception in 2021.
A citizen used her First Amendment Rights to visually depict what transpired at the Tuftonboro Forum between her friend and a candidate. My campaign is based in facts and rooted in transparency about what our Concord legislators are doing to us. What my opponent does represents him and what citizens do represent them. I alone speak for my candidacy.

I appreciate that citizens are using their voices to ask someone who just moved here a few months ago about their history. They should be asking the question you are not asking and seek the answers this paper is failing to ask. Article 22 is one of our most important articles, use it wisely for the citizens of NH: "Free speech and Liberty of the press are essential to the security of Freedom in a State: They ought, therefore, to be inviolably preserved."
I have not approved any fake ads nor will I. I have asked the party if they are sending mailers to only remind people to vote and only use my name. If they choose to put out something on my opponent I will disavow that now and publicly.
My campaign has only sent one mailer as they are costly and that money should be used to feed and help house our struggling neighbors. The CDS was sent the image of my mailer before they printed this story. I made up Valentine's Postcards and our community wrote 2,700 cards in 4 days. My mailer was about community and our unity! My mailer was about spreading kindness and uplifting our electoral process to encourage people to vote. It had a message that stated, "Valentine Greetings: Be my date to the polls"
The fact of the matter is: The AGs office was contacted because when Fincher launched and advertised his fake website on me with fake information, he originally had my name, my face, and a donate button. My supporters went and donated. As soon as they changed the donation button it was more obvious, but still writing the word "Real" and using my name is disingenuous, but as a supporter of our First Amendment Rights, I will speak out that they have the Right to their flyers and their juvenile political campaign. They have the Right to their fake website with fake information.
My 18 years of integrity in our community speak louder than the political theatrics being created by my opponent, Majority Leader Jason Osborne, and the Free State Project.
I support one's First Amendment Rights, and I hope the citizens voting on March 10th reach out to me through my website: www.voteboudman.com as I am the only candidate in this race who has written a Warrant Article in our district that passed with a super majority that supports our First Amendment. I am also the only candidate in the race that has written a Warrant Article to protect the citizens from the state levying more of our property taxes.
