What is the issue? At least 70% of cars don't stop at existing "STOP" signs. Some slow a bit. . .Look around as you drive and you may tell me 70%? NO, more than that.

I cross this intersection almost every day, mainly to go through Madison and avoid Rt 16. Its a horrible intersection, because traffic from the left is often going much faster than the designated speed. I always wait until no traffic is visible from any direction, to the annoyance of other drivers. The intention of installing a 4 .way light intersection is to prevent accidents. My suggestion is locate a comparable intersection and check the following: wait time, backed ip traffic, accidents before and after the lights were installed. Is there any way of determining if congestion would occur. People heading to Ossipee could turn right at the bottom of Page Hill and avoid the intersection entirely.
