Food Pantry/Clothing Depot. The food pantry at Vaughan Community Service, Inc., at 2031 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, is open 10-11:30 a.m. The clothing depot is open 4-6 p.m.

New Moms Club.
New Moms Club meets at the Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum. This group for first-time moms and moms with children 12 months and younger, is free and meets at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Call (603) 356-2992 for more information.
Conway Recreation Playgroup. A free playgroup for infants through pre-schoolers is held 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Conway Recreation Department in Center Conway. Arts 'n' Crafts for Kids. Come to the Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum to create an art piece in the arts 'n' crafts room. Music at Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum. Pre-school music is offered 10-10:45 a.m. at the Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum. The cost is $8. Mouse Paint Storytime. Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library in Lovell offers Mouse Paint Storytime with Miss Liz 2:45-4 p.m. for kindergarten through grade 2. Gibson Center Events. The Gibson Center for Senior Services offers a chair exercise class for those who need assistance getting in and out of the car or a chair at 10:30 a.m. Baby, a Teacup Chihuahua, drops in for pet therapy before lunch. After lunch patrons can board the Gibson Center bus for two strings of friendly bowling. Freedom Ladies Guild. Looking for a chance to help others and express your love of quilting? The First Christian Church of Freedom Ladies Guild meets 9 a.m.-2 p.m., except holidays. All are welcome to join the group for a few hours or for the whole day and bring their lunch. The ladies guild makes quilts that are distributed to area nursing homes and to young children in the area. Participants can bring a sewing machine to stitch the quilts or come and tie the finished quilts. The church is located at 12 Elm Street in Freedom. Amateur Radio. The Mount Washington Valley Amateur Radio Emergency Services group meets at 7:30 p.m. on the two meter repeater W1MWV - 145.45 MHz with a 100.0 Hz tone. The group provides public communications support throughout the Mount Washington Valley area during disasters, power outages, and other events in coordination with the state's other ARES units and the New Hampshire Emergency Operations Center.
