Moses Edward Ricker Jr., of Chocorua and formerly of Rowley, Mass., passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Sunbridge in Wolfeboro with family at his side. He was born Feb. 13, 1923 and recently celebrated his celebrated his 90th birthday.
He owned and operated Ricker Auto Salvage for many years but his real passion was his fishing in Canada.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemarie Steeves; and a daughter, Jane. He is survived by his sons, John and his wife, Carolyn, of Iowa, Charlie and his wife, Melissa, of Tamworth, George and his wife, Sue, of Tamworth, and Chris, of Tamworth; his daughters, Cheryl, of Raymond, and Rose and Audrey "Dede," of Tamworth; a stepson, Leonard Brown, of Florida, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his good friend, Marcel.
Upon his request there will be no calling hours. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
