Clara H. ThurstonClara H. Thurston, 87, passed away on Feb. 28, 2013 at the Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, Maine.She was born to Frank and Evelyn Hill at the family home in South Chatham on Oct. 23, 1925. Clara graduated from Fryeburg Academy in 1943.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold Thurston Jr.; their son Gregory and his companion, Terri Johnson; a grandson Forrest and his wife, Heather; two granddaughters, Paige and Natalie; a sister, Jean Bryant and her husband, Neil. She leaves behind a greatly extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are made with Wood Funeral Home, Fryeburg.
